Maison Moti is pleased to announce the launch of its newest project, which is based in Ilford in North East London. The official launch date will be confirmed.
The new project is a 9 bedded self-contained supported housing unit for adults with diagnosed mental health conditions. This will take the total number of Maison Moti’s projects to 12, with this latest one being the 5th supported housing unit. This new project will bring our total number of service users to 106 which includes our three 1 bedded floating support flats.
As always we run a competition to name our projects with the only stipulation being that it has the word “Moti” in it. The competition is open to all Maison Moti staff and service users and there is a prize for the selected entry.
Maison Moti opened in 1993 with one project, Maison Moti Care Home, in Southgate and now just over 22 years later we have projects in Enfield, Finchley, Manor House, Palmers Green, Dagenham, Kingsbury, Radlett and now in Ilford.
At present the project is still under construction and the work aims to complete by early summer.
This is a very exciting time for Maison Moti and all of its stakeholders and we are very much looking forward to opening this new project as it is located near to Moti Mansions, currently our only project in the East London area.
Also in the pipeline we have another 9 bedded supported living unit where construction is due to take place shortly and the completion date will be in late 2015. With this project our total number of beds across the organisation will be 115 and our 13th project.
